Each and every element in the works of Toyin Loye has a specific significance. His cheerful animals and masked human figures are attributes of his culture. They are symbols of the Yoruba people to whom he belongs. The chameleon represents wealth. It can change colors whenever it likes, and is also referred to in prayers.
